STAGE SETTING: The set represents a church office and the garden space out at the front.

CHARACTERS: (A cast of 3 men and 2 women)
CHARLES KANANAGH, a Roman Catholic bishop in his sixties
PETER TYLER, a newly ordained priest
AUDREY BALDWIN, the bishop's secretary - in her forties
ALEJANDRO MENDOZA, a Hispanic gardener - in his twenties
BARBARA DOWD, a Police Officer - of any age

PLOT SYNOPSIS: A young Catholic Priest discovers that his bishop and mentor is secretly destroying records of child abuse in the diocese. Determined to confront the problem the priest gains insights into the nature of the church that will lead to his own departure from it. Poignant, often funny - and very timely.
